PDF file | PUZ file | Solve online | Solution and notes

Hello again, everybody. New puzzle as promised. This one was a lot of fun to make, and I hope it's just as fun to solve. The theme is straightforward, with just a little bit of head-scratching. Expect a Tuesday solve.

If you haven't checked out my collab with Ariel Haymarket, the best time to do so is now, while Pride Month is still raging on. Ariel is one of my top favorites in the indie crossworld: Her fill is trail-blazing, with an eye toward leftist views, and her cluing is the kind that fans of Et Tu, Etui will enjoy. I'd say "Tell her I sent you", but I don't think I have the clout for that. What I will say is "Don't forget to tip your constructor".

Anyway, new themeless in the works — keep your eyes peeled.

Guess who's back >:)

This week's puzzle is a 72-worder constructed almost entirely by hand (with a little help from the Cruciverb database), so even though it may be a little rough around the edges, I'm quite proud of my creation. It is perhaps my easiest themeless thus far – as I type this, the solve rate without "cheating" sits at around 70%, with an average time of 8 minutes. Expect a Thursday-ish challenge.

Themed puzzle coming out soon – check back in on Saturday.

Happy puzzling –Hoyt
